Jeep Grand Cherokee scoops Drive Car of the Year Award

It was with great pleasure that the Jeep Grand Cherokee was presented with the prestigious Drive Car of the Year award in Sydney, claiming the trophy for Best 4wd for 2011 - making this the first win ever for a Jeep car in the Drive Car of the Year awards.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo CRD has ousted the two-time defending champion Land Rover Discovery – a sure sign of the quality, refinement, capability and value achieved by Jeep’s flagship car.

“The big American charmed Drive's Car of the Year judges with its punchy diesel engine, thoughtful cabin and genuine off-road ability,” Drive’s Barry Park said of the win. He also added that judges were very impressed by both the level of on-road refinement and value in the new Jeep Grand Cherokee.
