Jeep gets in touch with gamers

November 2011

Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty

Jeep continues to gain popularity amongst younger demographics, following the release of their latest Jeep Wrangler model.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 special edition Jeep Wrangler was announced simultaneously with the release of video game of the same name and will be available next month.

Boasting the tagline "The toughest vehicle in the world. Any world.", the game tie-in touches on the Jeep's long military history.

The Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition will be available either in black or bright silver, and features Rubicon wheels finished in semi-gloss black.

A special "Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition" graphic appears on the front fenders and spare tyre cover. The game will also appear as part of the interior, with accented stitching and logos on the seats, steering wheel, console lid and dashboard.

The latest release is only the second time a real-world Jeep edition has been created for the popular game franchise, following last year's special edition Black Ops car.

Overall, Jeep sales are up in the US by 25 per cent for the year to date, and this latest limited edition Jeep model should contribute to the manufacturer's continuing success in 2011.
